Blog Etiquette
I have a question of Blog Etiquette. Recently I posted PDF files containing the text of John Kerry's book The New Soldier. A number of people have linked to that post and the it has been mirrored in one or two places. I don't have a problem with any of that. There is one site that links to the files I put on the Munuvian server without crediting where they came from. I would rather someone download the files and post them to their own server, but if you are going to link to files on someone else's server, have the decency to credit the source.

That John Kerry served and then stood up for the thousands of American soldiers and millions of Vietnamese civilians whose lives were utterly destroyed by that senseless war (we didn't win - the dominoes didn't fall) makes him a true hero and a truly honorable man.

I'm sorry, Stephen. My bad, too. I copied those links at that site and didn't read them as I did. I saw it at Lucianne and just jumped.
You're right. Manners are manners and we should all be mindful of them.
I've placed an appropriate link in my post.

I think most bloggers are pretty good at properly linking their content to the source, but sometimes things fall through the cracks.
I need to mention that your first comment in this thread has nothing to do with your post. It's a commercial.
