Fitna Available Here
I don't know how long the mu.nu servers can handle the load, but when I read that LiveLeak decided to to give in to the threats of violence from Muslims over their decision to host the movie Fitna, I had to do something.
The Geert Wilders film linking Muslim violence directly to the Koran is currently available on You Tube, but I don't expect it to last long there either. You Tube has an established track record of caving in when ever a Muslim says "BOO."
So I downloaded it from You Tube and converted it to wmv file. I'll keep it available until I get a nasty gram from Pixy Misa that it is melting the servers.

Thanks for doing this. I've watched it a couple of times now at various places, but it's been a bear to find. I noticed that your version is complete but listed as about 5 minutes shorter than the one I first saw at Google Video. The .wmf conversion must speed it up slightly, or Google's was slowed down.

Ted,
I suspect that happened in the conversion - the app that downloads the file from YouTube converts it to an MP4 for iTunes (48MB for Fitna) I ran it through QuickTime to convert it to a WMV and compress it down to 11MB.

Thanks, Steve. I give a fuller "thank you" and explanation on the "Fitna Thread Closed" Ace thread you posted the link to. From the size alone, I expect that your "edition" will eventually become the most widely spread variation of Fitna.

I've tried dnldg FITNA several times, with both Firefox and IE; all "complete" after 200-300 kb. Do you know of any issues to cause premature stop?

Rob,
Not that I'm aware of. I just downloaded it successfully on both a windows and MAC machine.

Rob,
Not that I'm aware of. I do know that the Live Leak video is back on line and it is still on YouTube if you can't get this link to work.
