I have arrived - virtually - in Rio.

The yacht Hold the Mayo has completed leg 5 of the Volvo Ocean Race Game.

43 days: 15 hours: 40 minutes

I was doing well until the last 300 miles when a wind shift turned out to be larger than forecast.

I finished in 8,154th place out of 184,585 boats. My overall position is 3,838th.

I'm looking forward to leg six. Rio to Boston. 4,900 nautical miles starting on April 11.
