Questions for Senator Dodd

I got a robo-call from Senator Chris "Friend of Angelo" Dodd today. My normal impulse would be to hang up immediately. I have no respect for the man and I generally don't care to hear anything he has to say.

Today I listened a moment and I'm glad I did. Senator Dodd invited me to participate in a telephone town hall on healthcare. He said he was going to give an update then take any questions.

My current thinking is that I want to probe on the topic of the individual mandate. Specifically I would like the Senator to elaborate what happens if I decide, based on my  own evaluation of my life, that I do not want health insurance. I understand that I would then be subject to a tax fine, but what are the consequences should I refuse to pay that fine.

I want Senator Dodd to address the possibility that under "health care reform" a citizen choosing not to participate could ultimately face arrest and prison.

I am going to give some more thought to what question I would like to ask the Senator Dodd between now and 7:15 on Wednesday. I'm open to suggestions if you'd like to leave one in the comments.

Steve-

Ask him why the main stream media is ignoring the protests?

Why wont all of the government also must be on the same system?  Funny how Congress, Senate and etc wont be forced to participate- if it is so great then why wont they be "forced" to sign up?
