Rocket's Red Glare
What could be a more perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July than a spectacular Space Shuttle launch? Maybe a spectacular Shuttle launch while multiple North Korean missile tests are failing.
There are lots of great photos of the launch all over the internet. The one I like the best was taken by Ed at Robot Guy. He was on the side of the road about seven miles from the launch. I'm not sure if the sign was intentional or if was just luck, but it works for me.

Glad you liked it. We had pulled off on a cloverleaf overpass, pretty much the highest point around for several miles, and the Exit sign was across the road from where I was standing. It wasn't until I started clicking pictures that I even noticed the sign, so it was simply luck that it was in the picture.
