Writer For Hire

The writers of Hollywood have gone on strike. They want a greater share of network and studio profits from DVD and online distribution. It's their life, they can demand what they want. They, through their union, can try to hold the networks and studios hostage.

The problem is that while they are on strike, there will be nothing on but re-runs and reality shows. Most of the new stuff they make is crap and having to sit through the old crap is more than I can stand. So I'm officially offering my services to any interested studio or network as a copywriter. (O.K. maybe not Lifetime.)

I'll work cheap. I've never written for television before so that will obviously be reflected in the initial price. When it's obvious that there has been no loss in the quality of the writing I'll start asking for more. I do not, nor will I ever, belong to any writer's union. You will negotiate with me. You will have an agreement with me. You offer me what you consider fair, and if I think it's fair we have a deal.

Just don't expect a lot of left slanted or anti-individualism themed story lines. If you can live with that, leave me a comment and I'll be in touch.

  I don't have cable  as steven Knows I live on a remote Island called central oregon?  My point is I love old westerns no matter how crappy  THERES ALOT OF REALLY GOOD ONES . { Capitolizeation accidental but looks cool}

 so I.m drinking beers It's not my fault this sentance skipped [way the hell down here, I didn't do that either  I swear .. Anyways  I watched an old Bonanza Last night that I did'nt remember It was about a huge strong semi-retarded guy that people picked on  Hoss could relate to him . amd gave him a job at the  PONDEROSA  It was sappy the guy fell in love with a sleazebag bar maid  and the whole bar was using him for laughs.. eventually despite Hoss' warnings he buys her some beads with his entire weeks pay and she  laughs at him and breaks them in his face . this causes him to strangle her to death and Hoss tries to keep him from being murdered by the mob syndrome .. in the end the big dumb guy gets killed but saves his protector  ... An obvious rippoff of ." Of mice and Men "  with a slightly different ending ...But way better than 80% of shit televised today   I think I'll try to get a job and be a strike breaker   Ready for a rerun of Grimm's fairy tales?
